Distinguishing Features: Faint scar on right arm. Visible only when she wears short sleeves. Has a tendency to carry several weapons on her at all times.

Daina doesn't really know when she was born; she normally lists Correllia because that is where she was found at the age of two, her parents dead nearby. (She can barely remember being put in a cupboard by her mother, and being told to stay put...and being found by a Wookiee mercenary...the rest she has apparently blanked out.)
She was raised by Stensar, the Wookiee mercenary, and his wife, in both Wookiee and human traditions. Eventually, she learned how to approximate the Wookiee language (although she has been told that she speaks with a speech impediment in that language), and to speak basic fluently. As she grew older, she learned how to shoot a gun or bowcaster, and to wield melee class weapons. At age ten she became a member of her foster father's mercenary company, and remained a member of the company until her company was wiped out during a skirmish on a border world, leaving Daina orphaned for the second time in her life, at age fourteen.
She drifted to Tatooine, having been told she could find work for someone of her skills. She was hired on by Adazinn Fayne, first as a ranch worker, then as an apprentice bounty hunter. Apparently, he was impressed with her abilities...she was already more skilled with a blaster than most men twice her age. During this time, she developed an aptitude for training animals. It was during this time that Fayne did an DNA test on the girl. The tests revealed she was his niece, by his older brother. He eventually became her guardian, although she regards him more as an elder brother figure at times.
She has been trained in the martial art of Teras Kasi by a friend of her uncle, one Arithon Kerson.
It is a rare occasion that Daina wears a dress. Usually, she can be found wearing jeans and loose shirts under composit armor, or wearing the same type of clothing as her uncle Adaz. She can behave ladylike, but she prefers to be tomboyish the rest of the time.
She does have one secret, that she does not know. She is force sensitive, nearly to the point that she could be trained to use it.. Arithon has kept that from her, in an attempt to keep her safe as possible, and so that she may have as normal a life as she can have, considering her profession and abilities. Daina wouldn't make a good Jedi, but she probably could use the Force to augment her natural talents.

Writer's notes: Yes, I aged Daina drastically from the time she was introduced to TCB at age fourteen. Because of this, I have had to tweak her bio somewhat, so that she would also have been at the Battle of Restuss, if her age progression holds (guessing this is two, three years after the Battle of Restuss, which she was present for.). I've also added back in the original Dana's affinity with animals (the original Dana Starchild was rolled on Lowca), as when I do come back, I intend to play around with the Beast Master tree (who names these things at Sony..I really preferred the title, Creature Handler). There is more, but at the moment reserving that information for the GMs.
Edit: To clean up the bio a little bit. Found some grammatical errors, needed a clarification here and there, so fixed those. Shortened it by a few words...
