Ikewe pressed floor 6 and hoped that's where the elevator would actually stop but she kept her blaster in her hand, just in case. With the knowledge that Veth had been set loose she made certain the light saber was carefully tucked away as she grumbled profanities about why he could never just stay gone.

Kir frowned at the closed elevator doors. So much for trying to secure the elevator, she thought. Though with all the fighting it was no surprise the debris hadn't stayed in place. "Come on Ikewe, hurry it up," she whispered to the closed doors. |

Ayden did not add that he was severely lacking in trust with some of the members of this team, and wanted to get out before any more bad things could go wrong. |

Jondon blinked in astonishment at Veth for a moment, but quickly shrugged it off. It's probably best not to try to argue anything with him... he thought.
After looking around the rubble for anymore troublemakers, he decides to take Buzzz's advice and head for the elevator. |

As the elevator stopped at floor 6, Ikewe relaxed her stance and lowered her blaster, but she didn't holster it. As the doors to the elevator slid open, she stepped to the side to make room. "Anyone else ready to head for an exit?" she asked the gathering group.

Kir didn't hesitate and simply stepped into the elevator, taking a spot close to Ikewe to illustrate she was definitely ready to leave. |

Daina nods to Buzzz, approaches the elevator..and smiles as she sees Ikewe as the doors open...
Arithon smiles, knowing who is inside..."Glad you are safe, Ikewe. I probably should, but I need to take care of some unfinished business..Daina, go with Ikewe...."
Daina glares at Arithon..."Like bloody hell, you're the one who's blind...! I want to take care of whoever is running this too..you're injured. You may be using the force to see, but you need to get to safety, "Uncle" Ari, so you can get into that force trance..."
She looks up at him..."And you can protect Ikewe just as well as I can. Maybe better." |

As the group waits for the two elevators Veth remains in the room looking for any sign of his weapon, but realizes that his oldest and only personal possesion is not there. Walking from the room he see's his group of followers and Arithons waiting at the elevators. As he approaches the group he hears a familiar Voice and looks through the crowd to see Ikewe. Ikewe had always seemed to be the most realistic of all her companions to Veth and was one of the few beings in the universe to ever have a normal conversation with him, Something that Veth had respected in his own odd way.
Looking at Caere and the group that was preparing to head towards the powersource of the place Veth examined Awerp and then spoke to Caere through the force. "He is powerhungry..... ensure that the darkside is with him down there... ensure that none escape the basement but the 3 of you..." His voice resonates in Caeres thoughts.
Veth turns his attention to Ikewe. "I am going to find the people responsible for this place's existance.... you can run if you wish but they will track you down"

Caere smirked at Malice as he glared at her. She could feel the sparks of anger and competition--working 'with' him was going to be fun.
The elevator opens just as Caere hears her master's voice in her thoughts. She takes in his words, looking briefly at Awerp's angry face.
"It shall be done, master," she responds through the force, even as she bows her head slightly at Veth.
With that she entered the elevator, pressing the buttons to move to basement level 4.
"Lets do this," she says to Malice and Awerp.

"And that is why we need to take down Jenovicks first," Arithon agreed...some would say that his agreeing with Veth was a sign of the coming of end days..."But we need to find him first, Ikewe. Do you have any idea where he could be?" he asked, facing her..if his eyes hadn't been injured or bandaged, he would have been looking into her eyes.
Daina could hear the determination in his voice.

Ikewe frowns as she replies, "Jenovick's and his lackey Jenkins went to the security room. I don't know if that's on floor 7 or not but it would make sense that it's close to both his office and his bedroom." Her lekku vibrated slightly as she again considered that she could have.... should have killed that man as he was leaning in to kiss her.

Kir raised an eyebrow at Ikewe, "Then you'd probably be dead now too," she said in a half whisper. She leaned slightly against the elevator wall with a slight smirk. But she knew now was not the time to make a joke at Ikewe's expense. She'd wait until they were sitting over drinks at the Inferno, when this place was a smoking pile of rubble and they were far away from it. |

| Awerp watches the group as they talk to one another, tilting his head to the side as he watches the doors open to reveal Ikewe, turning his head to the side as he hears Caere speak to him, he nods his head and follow her and Malice. |

As Caere, Malice and Awerp load into the elevator and head towards the powersupply, The rest of the group waits at the other elevator and debates on the next move.
"This structure will soon come down around us if they do what they are supposed to..." Veth speaks up above the others. " If you wish to abandon your silly responsibility of helping those in need than by all means........ Join me in finding this man." Veth says with sarcasim knowing Arithon's mentality. Then turning towards Ikewe.
"Your knowledge of this place and this man are something that may prove useful to me......" The cold voice says to Ikewe. Veth turns his tattooed back to the crowd and enters the elevator, as the doors close veth stops them and then turns towards Ikewe again. "Going up?" the emotionless voice asks. |

This narglatch has more lives than a corellian sandpanther thought Ayden Storm. Part of him knew he had not seen the last of Veth Malarian when he was entombed on Strict.
"We are not leaving Ikewe Veth." Ayden said sharply, "I guess we just have to hope those fierfekking pets of yours don't blow us all sky high." |

"Hold on there, mister! If you think you can just hijack the elevator like that..." Daina pushes her way in ducking under Veth's arm, Arithon entering calmly in her wake, doing the same with an amused expression..."Ikewe, talk some sense into Mister Iwannabeaherojedi here, will you?" she asked...For the moment, she was ignoring Veth in favor of her extended family.
Arithon mutters to Buzzz and Xqsme.."Impulsive, rash, stubborn..." He shakes his head, amused for a moment..."just like her boss..."
Daina turns to Arithon, not having heard his comment..."Look, Ari..Ikewe is going to need help, and you went to medical school...you *know* how to operate those things..If need be, you can talk her thru it."
Arithon looked down at her, raising an eyebrow under his bandage..Daina could tell from the set of his mouth that he was not going to waver from his current course...she didn't need the Force for that.
"I care about the others, too, just that you've already been hurt" she continued, "and I don't want to leave you...like you made me do three years ago, Arithon...If nothing else, let me watch your backs..I swear I won't harm a horn on Veth's head..." She looks over at Veth..."I'm sorry I took a pot shot at you back there...I had no idea you wanted Jenovick's guts as well..." She looks to the Jedi and the Sith, awaiting an answer...

With little experience in situations where his word was not the final one, Veths only ansewer to such situations was violence but doing that would infere with his plan for getting rid of all of them in one fell swoop. Veth clenches his fist tightly and the muscles on his chest and arms stiffen in aggrivation.
"So I suppose it would be smart to remain in one large group as we are currently doing?" Veth asks noone in particular. "It is obvious that they know of your presence already, so why not move as one large target? especially seeings as how any combat that you will engage in will be in close quarters and any cover is limited.... but I suppose that if you all follow that plan you will have plenty of each others corpses to hide behind.." His empty voice resonates in the metal elevator. "....This is not an option to be argued over.... either the two of you step off or I can settle this for you...." Veth adds firmly and pauses a second before adding.
"Your friend will be fine...." Veth says with an ominous certanty in his voice. |

The basement of the complex is a very large bay with a large fusion reactor in the center of it. It being the central power source for the complex is heavily guarded by battle droids and operated by several more technicians, But something unseen in the galaxy lays in wait to protect Jenovicks's investment.
As the elevator heads approaches the basement their arrival is already expected......
